Shepherds Friendly names Myers as chair – Mortgage Strategy
Shepherds Friendly has appointed Mark Myers as its chair, effective 1 January.
Myers joins with 40 years of experience in the financial services sector, including banking and insurance.

Myers has also worked in leadership positions at the Association of Financial Mutuals and LV=, and is a committee member of Huntingdon Racecourse.
The appointment of Myers comes as the mutual starts a transformative five-year strategy and begins preparations to celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2026.
Myers has been a non-executive director at the society since 2019 and succeeds Nemone Wynn-Evans, who steps down at the end of her agreed term.
Shepherds Friendly chief executive officer Ann-Marie says: “I’m delighted to welcome Mark as our new chair. His contributions as non-executive director have been so valuable, and his extensive knowledge and insight will be of even greater benefit as we meet evolving member and market needs.”
